You might want to know a little about me. Every morning, I start my day by walking my two dogs, Finn and Charlie, through the woods near Lake Lanier—rain, snow, or shine. It’s my way of staying connected to myself, to others, and to life with an open heart.
Creativity keeps me busy, whether it’s gardening, restoring furniture, or my newest venture—making wreaths. I’ve been married for 28 years to my husband, whom I met while we were both working in Yellowstone National Park. We have two children: Emma, 21, and Luke, 18. Having spent nearly my entire life in the South, “y’all” is just part of my vocabulary.
Back in high school, I was the go-to person for relationship advice—friends would come to me for guidance on dating and family matters. In many ways, I was counseling even then, and I haven’t stopped since. Becoming a therapist wasn’t just a career choice; it’s who I was meant to be. As an intuitive, highly sensitive person, I naturally attract people who share those same traits.
When you work with me, I want you to feel truly seen and heard. Our relationship is built on trust, and every session is designed to ensure you get exactly what you need. Your investment—of time, energy, and resources—is something I deeply respect. My goal is always your highest and greatest good.
Even if you struggle to see yourself in a positive light, I see you clearly, and I’ll hold that vision of your true self until you catch up to it. And while growth and transformation are deep work, we’ll also laugh and have fun along the way. I have plenty of creative tools up my sleeve to help you shift perspectives and experience yourself in new, empowering ways.
Curious about my background? Here’s a little more about me…
I have been a licensed therapist for over 28 years, specializing in helping adults navigate challenges in their relationships—with others and with themselves. My focus is on guiding individuals through healing from childhood emotional neglect, trauma, and narcissistic abuse, supporting them on their journey to recovery and healthier connections. I work with clients to understand how these early experiences continue to shape their relationships, parenting, and overall well-being, helping them find healing and growth. Additionally, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, body image issues, addiction, and trauma, as well as helping clients move from perfectionism and self-defeating behaviors toward a more joyful and authentic way of living.
